TAEKWON-DO
What is Taekwon-Do?
Taekwon-Do is the Korean Martial Art of self-defence and was established by General Choi Hong Hi in 1955.
It has grown to become the most popular martial art in the world with people of all ages enjoying the amazing benefits you receive from trying to follow the tenets: Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control and Indomitable Spirit.
Taekwon-Do is generally known for its dynamic and effective kicking, although students are taught how to use their hands, elbows and knees through the fundamentals of Taekwon-Do.
Our classes focus on the traditional martial art, and include self defence, fundamental movements, flexibility training, sparring, pattern (Tuls), pad work, and conditioning following the 5 tenets of
Taekwon-Do.
